Ramprasad Vita Mandir - Halisahar

Ramprasad Vita is situated in Halisahar, North 24 Pargana. River Ganga flows through this mid town. This place is morely famous for home of Sadhak Ramprasad Sen, who was devotee by mother Kali. Mother Kali gave dream to Ramprasad Sen for establishing the idol of her. He started to worshiping the Idol. Later one day he dive in Ganga with the mother idol after worshiping it and he didn't come back. After that incident, that place is famous as "Ramprasad Ghat" and his birthplace is known as "Ramprasad Vita Mandir". Many stories are available to listen to their locals as, there is tree, name as "Panchabati" tree. According to local people, Ramprasad saw mother Kali. 

Now there is situated a temple of mother Kali and everyday many devotee visit and worship the idol. On every special days like "omabosshya" and other, some arrangement like "Bhog" is available for who visits. Basically devotees visit Ganga and then visit temple for ritual tasks. Outside of Temple, many shops are available for buying essential stuffs for worshiping.

• Take local train towards Ranaghat Line/North Main Line from Sealdah Station. 
• Step down at Halisahar Station.
• Take Auto rickshaw/Toto from near Auto stand.
• Auto take people there.
• By private car also can reach there. Take Kalyani NH Road for easiest road to reach.
